Day 26 - Monday June 2nd

Pleased to say that Jo arrived home safely today after a train ride to Madrid, a taxi to the airport and then a plane direct to Birmingham airport. She's going to need several days recuperation to get on her feet again with a very painful back, bruised toes and inflamed toe and a cough. However she looks really well and is full of her adventures along the way. She has promised to write her own Blog entry in a few days so you can hear of her life on the Camino.

Ann has walked about 12 miles today, mainly along a road, to the village of Vega de Valcarce. When she sent her text she was sitting in front of the refugio in bright sunlight having a drink. She thinks that the forecast for the next few days is good as well.

Ann - 380 miles covered, 107 miles to go.
